Puri
Puri (purikura) is possibly Japan’s best feature: the photo booth. It’s been around for decades and is the number one thing to do with your friends, girlfriend/boyfriend and sometimes even family. These days the new machines make your eyes bigger, your skin whiter, your legs longer and much more. What we call bug-eyed or washed-out they call cute and beautiful. The full puri album is here. Enjoy!
*Puri of the Week*
On top of all that, a few of the newest puri machines actually go a step further and make you look like (slightly) natural models. I am in love with these machines because they look so much better than the others. Check it out:
(And possibly my all-time favourite puri:)
Compare these to the puri in the Hall of Fame below and you’ll see thhe difference.
