Christmas Day
Well, December 25 came and went…You know what that means…It was CHRISTMAS. For US. In JAPAN.
To put it simply, the Capp family experienced their first ever Christmas in Japan!!! It wasn’t quite a White Christmas as such, but it was still uber-cold, and….er, Christmasy, for lack of a better adjective to describe the day – which we will now do in this blog post.
It all started off with us Junior Capps (aka Felix and I) waking up early, as expected, due to the excitement of Christmas Day. As the official present-opening could begin only at 7a.m. or later, we had to amuse ourselves (or at least, I had to try and amuse us) by playing I-Spy games and singing random theme songs off TV shows and whatnot.
At 7pm, we came downstairs and opened our pressies!!!
From Santa, I got things like a book called “Linger”, a cool pen, pink lipbalm, a really cool t-shirt with a picture of a sax player and a love heart, lollies, and a Glee calendar!!!!!!!!! (Really pumped about the last one.) And from my parents, I got a camera! Finally! Yaaaayy!! It’s pink but I don’t mind. It’s also really awesome, and has lots of fab features like fish eye,
and more. It also has lots of flashy functions, like it takes a photo when it detects that you’re smiling, and when you’re looking at photos, if you tap the side of the camera the next photo comes up! Real cool stuff, bro. ;D
I also used it to record a video of me singing “Santa Claus is Coming to Town”, which I will try and post soon as the file size is far too big to upload right now.
Anyway it was a fully-sick-fantastic-awesome-etc. present!!!
After presents, we made Christmas lunch.

We had a chicken, roast veggies, cauliflower cheese,

pudding,

chocolate cake -

- and crackers!
It was delicious!
All in all, a pretty lonely Christmas with just the four of us, but with Skype, great presents, memories and good food, we were still able to have a good day.
There. Did that describe it well enough for you? I sure hope so. Stay tuned for Part 2 of today, where what seemed like an innocent stroll down the beach soon turned into a tradgedy. LOL
it’s gonna be awesome!
Until then, bloggerinas/bloggerinos,
Sunami Girl xoxo
